Liz Earle cleanse & polish ( Hot cloth cleanser )

Whilst out shopping around a month ago, I took a trip to the liz earle counter.
The beauty consultant proceeded to ask me a couple of questions to which she recommended the cleanse and polish Hot cloth cleanser starter kit. A set with 2 muslin cloths and the cult product itself.
Now, I have decided to review this because I genuinely believe this deserves a five star rating and hopefully a review can do it justice!

The cleanser itself has naturally active ingredients. Rosemary, chamomile, cocoa butter and eucalyptus essential oil. All great for that perfect skin we all aim to achieve!

Liz Earle ask that you follow the steps to achieve the best cleansed and fresh look possible.
Cleanse and polish is a two phase process.
Phase 1 is cleansing. You massage the cleanser gently on to dry skin, over your eyes, face and neck. To purify, soften and stimulate the circulation.

Phase 2 is the polish phase. You rinse the pure muslin cloth in hand hot water and squeeze out any excess water, before gently polishing of The cream. Then to finish by splashing your fave with cool water.

The formula itself is of a creamy consistency and only one pump is needed to cover the whole of the face.
Now the smell guys is AMAZING, it is so refreshing and fresh you just know your skin is going to benefit from this treatment.

Now I genuinely believe this product works!
I'll admit it felt rather strange applying a cleanser to dry skin.
But, I have noticed a dramatic difference in my skin itself.
Since using this my skin is noticeably clearer and softer after each use and leaves me feeling refreshed and definitely more revitalised than any other cleanser I have used in the past.
I follow up after cleansing with the Liz Earle instant tonic boost spritzer (blog post arriving soon).
This cleanser is just unbelievable and I hope I have done it justice in this post!
Thank you Liz Earle for this amazing product!
you can pick this starter kit including the cleanse and polish with x2 muslin cloths up here for just £14.75!!

I hope this has been beneficial guys!

Estee Lauder Complimentary goodies!

Recently whilst shopping for a haul, I had popped to the estee lauder counter.
I picked up my double wear foundation and a new lipgloss (fuscia fantasy), links will be below.
Whilst I was there, the ever so helpful beauty consultant had told me about a new recent offer. ' Buy 2 or more Ester Lauded products and receive a complimentary gift'.

Now the free gift is the Estee lauder makeup bag.including-
Their advanced night repair serum, night repair eye cream, daywear moisturiser, a pure colour eyeshadow pallete, lipstick, eyeliner and a sumptuous mascara....
This free gift is amazing! So many products right?

So I'm just going to jump straight in with this review. Starting with .....

Advanced Night Repair serum-
This "dramatically reduces the major signs of visible ageing"
The serum itself is of a silky smooth texture, and quite a thick runny consistency.
It melts right in to the skin, leaving it feeling smooth and well cared for.
I had applied this to freshly cleansed skin. ( post to come soon)

Advance night repair eye cream-
This is a fast penetrating eye repair cream, which is of a thicker consistency than the face repair serum.
This feels luxuriously smooth when applied under the eye and the skin willingly absorbs this in an instant. This should be applied after the serum for maximum results.
I believe this genuinely works a treat, and a difference is felt upon waking the next day, with eyes looking brighter and nourished!

Daywear moisturising crème-
'Ideal hydration, delivers advanced anti ageing technology, with spf 15 '
This crème is of a thick whipped consistency and smells amazing! (Like watermelons!)
Once applied, skin feels hydrated and fresh . A great base for makeup!
This to me is perfect for every day use under makeup, this Is highly recommended by me.

Pure color Eyeshadow pallete-
This pallete has 4 neutral shades and is perfect for natural, daytime looks!
The first shade-10/ivory slipper (a sheer,satin finish)
Second-67/lilac whimsey (an almost light grape finish)
Third-18/sepia sand (a gold/Brown shimmer)
Fourth-73/peacock blue ( as the shade description suggests, deep and pigmented)
Overall I was very pleased with this great neutrals pallete! All shades are pigmented and very blendable.

Pure color color color intense kajal eyeliner-
This is a highly pigmented navy liner. I wouldn't usually go for a navy myself, but this looks great when lining the waterline, for a fuller  lash line look!

Pure color crystal lipstick-
This is a sheer, moisturising lipstick. This glides on leaving lips hydrated, and looking sheer.
The subtle shimmers are perfect for a luxurious natural look.
The shade I received - 41/tiramisu shimmer/swatches below.

Sumptuous Extreme lash multiplying mascara-
This mascara comes aided with a large bristle brush, which does not clump and provides a little volume!
For me this product didn't really volumise my lashes majorly, to make me think 'wow' like my benefit they're real. But this was a treat to try out.

Sumptuous colour/ tiramisu shimmer
Left-tirimasu shimmer.   Right- kajal liner/navy

ivory slipper,lilac whimsy,sepia sand,peacock blue

sumptuous extreme lash mascara

I was very pleased with this complimentary gift, and felt these products definitely deserved a review!

Nip+Fab Pistachio Sundae Goodness

With Laura Mercier's body sufflee being pretty hare to find a dupe for, I think we have found a winner with this little gem!

This body butter is rich and nourishing at the same time,  and the smell is outstanding!
Texture wise laura Mercier's is a little bit fluffier, but I find this to be more rich and greater on the skin.

I picked this up for £2.49 from Boots, which is a fraction of the price of laura Mercier's which retails at around £42.

Nip+Fab have a whole range of flavours to try out, which I shall definitely be trying out!

What's your favourite flavour? Let me know!

Garnier 5 second perfect blur

On a recent beauty haul, I discovered this little tube of magic...

I had seen this advertised may of times, and was intrigued to see if it really worked.
So...it retails at around £12.99 and claims to 'blur' out imperfections of the skin.
"Visibly blurs:wrinkles,imperfections,open pores and shine"
I was in two minds as to whether to take the plunge and purchase it, May I note I am so glad I did!

Now the tube itself is pretty large for the average primer, which is great.

30ml tube

The consistency is very soft, almost like a fluffy paste.
Upon usage it glides on, feeling almost creamy, but then magically mattifies. Brilliant right!?
Surprisingly enough it did blur out my imperfections, and some discoloration, without clogging my pores!
With applying this after a daily moisturiser, and then foundation on top, this creates the perfect base for your skin.Almost a blank canvas if you like!
Makeup lasts twice as long and just looks effortlessly flawless. So thank you Garnier!!

Have you tried this?let me know what you guys think!

Soap and Glory scrubs!

A few months back now i finally gave in and bought a few products from the cult range of soap and glory, and my gosh have i not regretted it!
So starting of, firstly i was drawn in by the 3 for 2 offer at boots, which is great.
Then i had a cheeky smell of the two exfoliating scrubs i had heard of before, the breakfast scrub and the sugar crush scrub. straight away i was drawn in to these, the smell was insane!

Breakfast Scrub-Left                           Sugar Crush-Right

So starting of with sugar crush.... my word is this amazing! The scent is almost like sugary lime, and according to the packaging "with smashed brown sugar&sweet lime, alomond oil & macadamia grains".
this straight away made me want to try this product by its scent, and promising effects it would have.

upon first use, i used this on damp skin and rubbed it in using circular motions. Straight away i could feel this working away, with the small grains working the magic!
while using this might i add, the smell is insanley good. It almost makes you want to dive in and eat the scrummy paste. Might i add it may not taste to great guys!

As soon as this is washed off my skin felt so much smoother and fresh, which might be down to the heavenly scent of this product.
and at a price of around £8 this is a bargain for the great wonders it works!
I shall definitely be purchasing this again when it has been used up.

Now on to the Breakfast Scrub.....yet again AMAZING!!

I also picked up this, yet again because of the scent.Soap and Glory describe this scrub as "oat, shea butter & sugar body smoother. with organic cupuacu bio scrubs, bananas, almond & honey extracts" now this alone sounds very yummy! might i add it also has a new maple fragrance. The smell is insanley good, and does not dissapoint upon use.

Starting with the texture. It is a rich and thick formula, alot less grainy than the sugar crush, yet still manages to do the trick!
Upon use it feels like you are massagimg luxury goodness in to your skin, which alone is a great feeling!
The scent alone is one to brag about, sending off fumes of maple syrup around the room, which anybody would love.

Upon rinsing yet again the skin felt smoother and smelt yummy!
Soap and glory have not dissapointed with these products amd i hioghly recommend them if you want to feel pampered for the evening, without the huge price tag!

Let me know what you think, Guys!

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush  rrp-£8.00
